"Bellona gave me the chance to make peace with the Greeks and increase the strength of Rome. I took it. If I die, I will die defending that cause. So I say my mother is with me today. She will add her strength to mine. Shoot your arrow, Orion. It won't matter. When I throw this blade and pierce your heart, you will die" |

Praetor Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano is the Roman demigod daughter of Julian Ramírez-Arellano and Bellona, and younger sister of Hylla Ramírez-Arellano. Julian became unstable after Reyna, her second daughter, was born, and would lock his daughters in their rooms to keep them "safe". Eventually, Julian became convinced that his daughters were the enemies and became a mania. When Julian attacked Hylla, Reyna accidentally vaporized him with an Imperial gold sword.
Reyna and Hylla eventually became handmaidens for Circe until the Greek demigods Perseus Jackson and Annabeth Chase caused Edward Teach and his crew to take over the island. Reyna and Hylla eventually harnessed their mother Bellona's warlike abilities, impressing the pirates. While Reyna left to become praetor of the Twelfth Legion Fulminata at Camp Jupiter, Hylla became the Queen of the Amazons.
Reyna participated in the Battle of Mount Othrys as praetor, ending in New Roman victory. Although Jason Grace became praetor along with Ramírez-Arellano, he was taken to Camp Half-Blood by Juno to prepare for the Second Gigantomachy after the two encountered Venus in South Carolina. Eight months later, an amnesic Perseus Jackson came to Camp Jupiter carrying Juno across the Little Tiber. Juno declared Jackson a son of Neptune, then left. Ramírez-Arellano then defended the camp in the Attack on Camp Jupiter with help from her sister and her Amazon army, where Jackson became praetor.
The following day, however, an eidolon possessed Leonidas Valdez and caused him to fire on the camp from the Argo II, taken by Camp Jupiter as a declaration of war. In South Carolina, Ramírez-Arellano encountered Annabeth Chase, but allowed her to escape. Chase later sent a letter to Ramírez-Arellano that told her to head to the Mediterranean and bring the Athena Parthenos to Camp Half-Blood. Ramírez-Arellano strictly ordered Octavian not to attack Camp Half-Blood until she returned, but Octavian took control over the legion and continued the invasion nevertheless.
Ramírez-Arellano managed to locate the Demigods of Seven and took the Athena Parthenos to Camp Half-Blood with help from Nico di Angelo and Gleeson Hedge, uniting the two camps.
