— Harumi to Lloyd Garmadon[src]

Princess Harumi of Ninjago (10 BAN4 AN) was the crown princess of Ninjago and second-in-command of the Sons of Garmadon, adopted by Emperor Garmadon.

Harumi was born a commoner and lived in Ninjago City until the Day of the Great Devourer, when her parents were killed by the Great Devourer. Harumi began to seek vengeance on the Ninja of Creation for not stopping the Devourer sooner and idolized Lord Garmadon for killing the giant serpent. Adopted by the Emperor and Empress of Ninjago and raised as the Jade Princess, Harumi used her excessive time in the Royal Palace of Ninjago to her advantage, exploring the palace and making modifications. Harumi eventually founded the Sons of Garmadon and led the organization under her childhood alias of "the Quiet One".

Following Garmadon's death in 2 AN, Harumi procured a plan to resurrect him using the three Oni Masks. The Sons of Garmadon successfully stole the Oni Mask of Vengeance in 4 AN and attacked the palace soon after, killing the emperor and empress, as well as their bodyguard, Hutchins. Harumi then orchestrated a series of events leading to the Sons of Garmadon obtaining the Oni Mask of Hatred. Garmadon was successfully resurrected in his evil "Destroyer" aspect and conquered Ninjago Island as the new emperor and leader of the Sons of Garmadon, Harumi remaining second-in-command.

Harumi continued to serve Garmadon until the Battle for the Colossus, where she betrayed him out of cowardice and attempted to flee, but helped a family escape the chaos alive together and avoid her own family's fate. In the process, Harumi herself was trapped in the building and killed.
