The Trojan War was a ten-year-long war fought between the Greeks and Trojans. Paris of Troy had abducted Helen from Sparta with help from Aphrodite, who Paris had declared the most beautiful goddess out of her, Hera, and Athena. The war ended in Greek victory when the Greeks burned and destroyed Troy. The Trojan prince Aeneas, however, survived and went on to found the land that would become Rome.
