Strategy
It is recommended that you do not incur Jackson's wrath. Fortunately, avoiding the incurring of Jackson's wrath simply requires avoiding excessive amounts of evil. Jackson possesses an obsessive good person complex and is slightly irritated by confinement. He prefers to avoid the constant conflict and danger that targets him as a Greek demigod; nevertheless, should he be provoked, you will most likely have a bad time. He likes the color blue and enjoys it when his food is that color.
As a Greek demigod with a powerful lineage, Jackson is unusually agile, alert, durable, perceptive, and strong for a human, as well as skilled with swords. He experiences SmartDreams and possesses tactical intelligence, the Lupine Stare, and some knowledge over manipulating the OW KEPT.
As a son of Poseidon, Jackson draws immense power from water, especially sea water. He can also bend water at terrifying volumes and is known to have lifted 37,854 liters (10,000 gallons) of it sometime between 2009 CE and 2010 CE. Through this power, he is able to solidify water, seemingly create water at the cost of his energy, and has limited control over bending ice and poison. Additionally, he can use water to heal himself, cannot be involuntarily harmed by it, and is resistant to fire and heat. Jackson has perfect nautical abilities, being able to easily and flawlessly telekinetically operate maritime vehicles and navigate seas. Even besides water, Jackson has very limited power to bend other elements of the weather, such as lightning and wind. Furthermore, Jackson has some control to bend earth and can telepathically communicate with, and commands divine authority over, equine and marine animals.
Jackson is notably poor with archery.
Jackson wields the sword Anaklusmos. He has historically possessed and used Asterion II's severed horn, Hermean shoes, Medusa's head, and Poseidean pearls in 2006 CE, the Golden Fleece, Hermean multivitamins, the pelt of the Nemean Lion, a Poseidean javelin, a Wind Thermos in 2007 CE, chameleon armor in 2009 CE, a shieldwatch from 2007 CE to 2009 CE, and the Twelfth aquila in 2010 CE. He has an empathy link with Grover Underwood.
Etymology
Jackson's first name, Perseus, is taken from the name of his cousin, the Greek hero Perseus. Its meaning is unknown, although one possibility is a relation to the Ancient Greek word πέρθω pertho ("to destroy"). His nickname, Percy, here used as a diminutive form of Perseus, is an English name derived from the Latin name Persius, possibly related to the Etruscan word 𐌘𐌄𐌓𐌔𐌖 φersu ("mask"). Percy is also sometimes used as a diminutive of the English name Percival, probably a form of the Welsh name Peredur ("hard spears").
His surname, Jackson, means "son of Jack"; Jack is an English diminutive of a form of the Hebrew name Yochanan ("Yahweh (God) is gracious").
