This is the Manual of Style of the Bachland Wiki. The manual is relatively new and in progress.

Spelling conventions

All entries should be written in American English unless from a direct quotation written in a different variation of English.

Coloring

Especially in infoboxes, pages should usually have a specific color. The primary color should show affiliation, with the secondary color showing a secondary ability or narrower affiliation (e.g. red for Leonidas Valdez to represent Hephaestus, with a primary color of orange for Camp Half-Blood, and blue for Moiraine Damodred to represent the Blue Ajah, with a primary color of white for Aes Sedai. This secondary color should be the chosen color when dealing with a template with only one color parameter, such as Template:Quote.

Perspective

When dealing with an article on in-universe topic, it should be written from a neutral, in-universe topic without open regards to real-world works (e.g. "in 2010" instead of "in The Blood of Olympus") except for the Trivia section. When a source should be cited, it should be done so through references (see below). The same generally applies to plot sections for real-world works that build on the continuity of Bachland-Canon.

References

References should be added to virtually any possible in-universe fact given to improve credibility and decrease confusion. If this is not possible, use of Template:Citation needed is highly suggested.
